In 2018, ACA distributed 700,000 autism awareness bookmarks to new mothers in hospitals in all fifty states.

These bookmarks help to identify children at risk for an autism spectrum disorder and assist in empowering families to get an early diagnosis followed by intervention as soon as possible. The bookmarks include autism early detection information in both English and Spanish.

It will be many years before we identify all the causes of autism and we may never be able to reverse the condition; we can, however, work to identify autism as early as possible so we can begin effective intervention so those affected can develop the skills necessary to lead full and productive lives.

Through the Autism Awareness Project, ACA provides autism early detection information at no charge. Please help us reach our goal by donating to the Autism Awareness Project.
